Actor headshot in B&W

Around 1988 I got my first SLR camera and had my first experience working in darkroom. That was fun but whole workflow after all didn't fit quite to my temperament. That time I was more involved in painting which
gave me absolutely sense of freedom. No expensive gear, no waiting for time slot to get darkroom and so on, but I know someday  I'll get back to photography.
After many years the digital camera has been born and since 2006 I've keeping finger on the shutter button.
Digital output in color looks usually great if you make sure your exposition, WB, light source  is OK, but I had really hard time to find good B&W conversion tool. There is something extraordinary in Black and White pictures, seems to me that some models looks simply nicer, in some cases B&W reveal unseen in color depth of personality. Couple month ago I've start to use quite good plug-in which simulate different  types of analog films created by DxO, I have to say I love it !
In my work as Headshot photographer I am actually often asked by my clients about B&W version of their headshots as some of Dublin based agents still prefer B&W headshots...
